Agents J and K are back in time. J has seen some inexplicable things in his 15 years with the Men in Black, but nothing, not even aliens, perplexes him as much as his wry, reticent partner. But when K's life and the fate of the planet are put at stake, Agent J will have to travel back in time to put things right. J discovers that there are secrets to the universe that K never told him - secrets that will reveal themselves as he teams up with the young agent K to save his partner, the agency, and the future of humankind.

Director Barry Sonnenfeld is currently filming on location in New York with Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, who are reprising their roles as Secret Agents J and K respectively.
The plot has been kept a secret, although it is known there is an element of time travel, when the MIB agents are sent back to the year 1969 to save the world once again.
The third part in the movie trilogy boasts a new selection of popular actors including Josh Brolin as a young Agent K, with Emma Thompson and Alice Eve playing the different ages of Agent Oh.
After 2007's Superbad, Hader is in hot demand having just appeared in the alien comedy Paul, and those Ghostbusters III rumours wont go away.

Men In Black 3's production is going from bad to worse.
With its holiday hiatus extended while scribe David Koepp tinkers with the script to get it singing (or at least talking), the film's now lost one of its leads in the form of Alec Baldwin.
The 30 Rock actor, who was set to play the head of the MiB in 1969, has dropped out of the film thanks to its continued delays.
"I'm not doing that," he tells Vulture. "I'm out of it; the schedule didn't work out."
With shooting on the troubled threequel set to recommence on 28 March, we can only hope that director Barry Sonnenfeld and his team manage to get the film back into shape before anymore of its stars lose faith in the production.

Men In Black 3's pre-planned holiday hiatus may have been extended as script-honing takes place, but the casting department are still busily doing their jobs.
So Alice Eve (She's Out Of My League) has just been recruited to play a younger version of Emma Thompson's character, Olivia.
She'll appear in the 1969 portion of the film, in which Will Smith's Agent J travels back in time to work with a young Agent K (Josh Brolin) in order to save the world.
Olivia is a secretary at the Agency in 1969, but by the time we get to present day, she's now in charge of the place.
Production on the threequel took a pause over the holidays, and won't resume for another month as the writers attempt to polish the existing script until it gleams.
Considering the amount of films that make the script up as they go along, this can only be a good thing.

The Men in Black 3 cast continues to grow with the news that Alec Baldwin, Sharlto Copley (District 9, The A-Team), and current go-to girl, Gemma Arterton, have joined the project. This third outing really has managed to secure quite an impressive line-up. Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are both returning, alongside Josh Brolin, Jemiane Clement and Emma Thompson.
