Russell Brand to star in The President Stole My Girlfriend [16th November 2011 10:07:21]
You can't accuse Russell Brand of not broadening his horizons.
He is officially attached to star in and produce The President Stole My Girlfriend, a comedy newly picked up by Warner Bros.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Brand said that "In this movie, the president steals the girlfriend of a sexy hippie ? me, obviously."
This one has been scribed by Matt Portenoy, who most recently put his skills to use for a rewrite of the currently in-development Porky's remake.
Brand, who starred in Warner Bros' Arthur remake, will next be seen in Rock Of Ages alongside Tom Cruise, and will appear in Lamb Of God, the directorial debut of Juno writer Diablo Cody. Source: www.totalfilm.com
