Movie Synopsis:

Dom Cobb is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state, when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb's rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved. Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible-inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one. If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming.

Inception leads this year’s Saturn Awards nominations [25th February 2011 04:21:45]

The Oscars may be just around the corner (this Sunday), but another awards ceremony is only just ramping up in the form of the 2011 Saturn Awards.

Celebrating everything awesome about Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror films, the Saturn Awards have revealed the full list of contenders for this year's golden trophies.

Unsurprisingly, Best Picture Oscar nominee Inception has landed itself nominations for nine of the awards, only just skipping ahead of Let Me In and Tron: Legacy, which garnered seven apiece.

Pretty much every decent, major sci-fi action film of the last year landed some kind of nod, including the latest Harry Potter, Black Swan and even Shutter Island.
Of course, this is one ceremony where Oscars bright star The King's Speech didn't get a look in.
The 37th Saturday Awards ceremony will take place in June.

John Landis says Inception is [26th October 2010 17:09:05]

John Landis has revealed that he thinks Inception wasn't original. We're not sure how that's related to the movie he was promoting - Burke and Hare - but perhaps a journo asked him why the Pegg-starring grave-robbing chuckle-fest doesn't feature any city-folding dream sequences. Landis said: "Interestingly enough Inception, which is wonderful, is not original. There have been a lot of movies like it; remember Dreamscape? Oh, that's bad special effects but almost the same movie. Source: www.totalfilm.com
