Archeologist and avid puzzle solver Professor Layton and his assistant Luke think back to one of their earliest cases together... Famed singer Janice Quatlane requests Layton's help after a strange meeting with a little girl. The girl claims to posses eternal life and to be the reincarnation of Janice's friend Melina. Layton and Luke attend Janice's new opera.
