Riza Senyurt is a jobless Turkish Muslim who trudges along in life wondering if he will ever amount to anything. One fateful day he decides to apply for a job as a Santa Claus. With no concept of what Christmas is or why he has to dress up as an old man with a red suit and white beard, he finds it somewhat testing putting the 'ho-ho-ho' into the holiday season.
