Matthew Géczy is an American born movie and television actor, voice actor, and animation voice director based in Paris, France. He has been living in Paris since he was 18 years old. He wasn't there long before his first big break. It was in 1985 to portray one of the leading roles in a television mini-series entitled, "Grand Hotel" produced by French broadcaster, TF1. Over the years, Matthew Géczy has acted in several films for television and cinema and even had the opportunity to work in front of the camera with acclaimed directors such as Brian de Palma and Thomas Vinterberg. But it is especially behind the microphone that he has found the greatest success and in particular in the field of animation. Thanks to many years of experience and dedication to animation, he has become a man of many voices. He is most known for lending his voice to the funny and eccentric Odd Della Robbia for the hit animated television series, "Code Lyoko". In recent years, he has become a highly sought after animation voice director, including the BBC's 2008 Children's BAFTA nominated animated televisions series, "Eliot Kid". Matthew Géczy also works extensively as a voice actor for documentaries, video games, internet media, and worldwide advertising campaigns. Portraying the role of John McClane in "8th Wonderland" was Matthew Géczy's first ever top of the bill leading role in a feature length film.
