I dont agree this film was rubbish, but it couldnt be called a thriller by any stretch of the imagination. It was however a study in human weaknesses and the need to fabricate and expand on an otherwise very dull existence! I must admit I was waiting for a climax which didnt arrive! - it was rather a series of small incidents, but none of them very exciting. I think maybe on a second viewing I would watch with different expectations and maybe appreciate more the documentary aspect of the film, as some of the comments I had read previously led me to believe this was quite an exciting film, which it wasnt. I think on the whole the acting was good given the limited scope for big scenes!

Absolute rubbish! Such a boring film, that just didn't seem to have a storyline and very slow moving. People were getting bored and walking out of the cinema the whole way through and I was very tempted to also. Do not waste your time watching this rubbish!

And genre of "Thriller"???
The only thrill I got was not looking at what sweet I was lifting out of the pick'n'mix bag!

I am SO glad I got free tickets for this movie - it meant that when I walked out after 30 long minutes (and 20 mins after 5 others) I didn't feel that I had wasted my money.
This movie had a plot, but it was SO slow, and SO boring and had nothing to hook you in - the same revalation was used time and time again for the last 5-10 mins that I saw of the movie without there being more depth given to the storyline.
I've never walked out of a movie before - but I had to on this occassion as it was SO bad!
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Saw Catfish at thw Walcot Secret Cinema Event as part of the Bath Film Festival.
Catfish could be the next Cult movie.
Quite remarkably engaging and a very moving conclusion.
