Shahab, Nahal, Hamed, Faramarz, and Nicki are the members of a scientific genius team who have patented an invention and are trying to immigrate from Iran to Europe. Three days before their journey to Italy, Hamed becomes comatose because of his unknown illness and it shocks the team tremendously. Hamed needs an organ transplant. The other four members try to solve the problem concerning Hamed and their journey in their own ways. The crisis reveals layers of them in the past and present, which have been unknown till now in a normal situation, and it leads to new decision making and judgement.
The forensic pathologist Dr Nariman has a car accident with a motorcyclist and injures his 8-year-old son. He offers to take the child to a clinic nearby, but the father refuses his help and money. The next morning, in the hospital where he works, Dr Nariman finds out that the little boy has been brought for an autopsy after a suspicious death. Dr Nariman is facing a dilemma: is he responsible for the child's death due to the car accident or the child died of food poisoning according to other doctors' diagnosis?
Azim, an afghan refugee, who works at the municipality at night, lives in Tehran along with his family. Being the head of entire family and as the eldest brother, he arranges for his brother Faroogh, and his family along with their mother to be smuggled into Germany. But at the last moments Faroogh, shamefully makes his decision known to Azim that he's not going to take their mother who is very attached to her grandchildren. Azim who feels lonely and is furious, accidentally finds out that his mother is in dire need of a kidney transplant, otherwise she'll die in 2 months. During his search for a donor, he discovers that Iranians are not legally permitted to donate their organs to foreigners and he is the only donor although the doctor recommends him seriously not to do so. Now, he has to choose between his own life and his mother's whom he has always claimed as the most important one in his life.
